Relief in Black – Original Cardboard Relief Art

A hand-cut relief in machine board, painted with black linoleum paint and finished with black pastel for a deep, matte surface. The geometric shapes are cut halfway through the board and bent outward from the backing — so the relief doesn't sit on top of the material, it grows out of it. Light creates shadows that shift throughout the day, making the composition alive.
